Its founder, Martin Hsu, developed shocks and seatposts there. In 1997, the company launched its own brand and its first shocks, and in 1999 it presented its first dropper seatpost. Kind Shock became KS. In 2020, the brand moved into a new headquarters north of Tainan, with much larger production workshops.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eEvery cartridge spends seven days under pressure\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn Taiwan, the post cartridges are assembled in a pressurised area, where air and oil must never mix. Before sale, they stay compressed for seven days to check their reliability. Then come checks of hydraulic pressure, play, torsion and fatigue, in heat and cold alike. The \u003ca href=\"\/en\/products\/ks-lev-ci-dropper-post\"\u003eLEV Ci\u003c\/a\u003e, with a carbon mast and air-adjustable return, is presented by KS as World Cup proven, in XC and cyclo-cross alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eA dropper post is chosen by measurement\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eBefore choosing the travel, measure the exposed length with your saddle set at your riding height: from the seat tube collar to the top of the post head. It must fall between the minimum and maximum exposed lengths in the specifications, and the seat tube must offer enough straight depth for the inserted length. With 230 mm exposed in 31.6, the 175 mm fits, as its minimum exposed length is 224 mm.
