The high-modulus carbon body handles lateral stiffness and power transfer, the machined 7075-T6 aluminium teeth resist chain wear. Cybrei claims 31% more stiffness than a conventional aluminium chainring, and 135 g for the 50\/34 pair.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe brand puts the 54-tooth forward. With an 11 cog on 700 × 28, one pedal revolution covers 10.5 m, against 9.7 m with a 50: at 90 rpm, 57 km\/h instead of 52. That 8% carries over to every cog, which also raises your cruising gears. The one limit: Cybrei does not publish the weight of the outer chainring alone.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCybrei designed it with finite element analysis and tested it in its own lab, the Cybrei Science Lab.
