By offsetting the drilling, the rim opens up their angle and brings the tension on both sides closer together. Elitewheels expects a stronger, laterally stiffer wheel from it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 28 Sapim CX-Ray spokes, laced three-cross on both sides, complete the build. The 36-tooth ratchet engages every 10 degrees: pickup is less immediate than with a finer ratchet, but maintenance stays simple. To replace a spoke, the brand publishes the rim's ERD, 590 mm, the diameter used to calculate spoke length.
