Thermolite polyester is a hollow fibre: its empty core traps warm air, which insulates without adding bulk and limits the water it absorbs. The whole garment is knitted seamless on Karl Mayer machines.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn winter, the cold does not only come from the thermometer. At 0 °C, a descent at 30 km\/h feels like about -6 °C on exposed skin, and a soaked layer conducts heat more than twenty times better than air. Hence the push-pull knit, which pushes sweat outwards before it can chill you. Wear it close to the body, in your size.
