    Key features

23 cm long and 11 cm high: it fits in the front triangle of a size XS frame, and on many full-suspension bikes without getting in the way of the shock.

The right compartment takes tools, bars, a rain jacket and a battery pack. The narrower left one is made for a card, papers or cash.

Two mesh pockets and a key hook in the main compartment: small items don't end up at the bottom.

A covered port at the front lets a charging cable run out to a phone, a GPS or a light.

The shape usually leaves room for the bottle cages in the triangle. On a large frame, it even slips in between two big bottles.

    Description

The Frame Bag Small 02 is the most compact of Cyclite's frame bags: 1.4 L, 23 cm long and 11 cm high. The main bag of a small frame when touring, it also fits many full-suspension bikes and works as an extra on a big bike.

It keeps the layout of the larger models. The right compartment takes tools, bars, a compact rain jacket and a battery; the narrow left one, a map, papers or money. At the front, a covered opening lets a charging cable through.

On a large frame, the trick is to fit it between two large bottles, as Cyclite suggests: you keep all your hydration and gain somewhere to put the tools. On a full-suspension bike, compare the side view and the dimensions with your frame: the room under the top tube depends on the shock. For several days, add a saddle bag and a handlebar bag.

Cyclite designed it so that small frames get a frame bag too, and quotes 114 g complete. On bikes where every centimetre of the triangle counts, this is the one MAAKE recommends.
