    A covered opening at the back lets out the cable of a battery pack or the hose of a hydration bladder stored in the bag. The water rides on the bike, not on your back.

    Description

    The Cyclite Handle Bar Aero Bag 02 is the front bag for what you grab without stopping: rain jacket, windbreaker, hydration bladder. Its 4.9 L fit under the extensions of an ultra-distance bike, or under a standard handlebar.

    Its slim profile is shaped to redirect the airflow rather than stop it. The zip runs all the way round: you open it on the free side, one hand on the bar. Two mesh pockets keep wrappers on the outside, and a covered opening at the back lets through a cable or the hose of a bladder stored inside.

    Without extensions, strapping it to the handlebar isn't enough: anchor it down to the fork crown or rest it against the head tube, otherwise it pivots. Leave 20 cm between the handlebar and the tyre on the road, 22 cm on gravel, where mud and vibration bring everything closer. Fitted in front of a Handle Bar Roll Bag 02, it completes the front end.

    Cyclite gives it a removable wall reinforcement that holds the profile, and RennRad magazine picked it as the race choice in its bikepacking test. MAAKE keeps it for long distances, where everything needs to stay within reach.
