    Description

The Cyclite Hydration Vest 01 is a hydration vest cut for the bike, for hot stages and long stretches with no water stop. It carries a hydration bladder of up to 2 L on your back and leaves your jersey pockets within reach.

The stretch knit hugs the torso, and the airy mesh on the back lets air move against your jersey. The hose arcs up over the right shoulder strap, where a magnet holds it: you drink without letting go of the bar. Three shoulder strap pockets keep bars and phone in front of you, and two zipped pockets take arm warmers or a windbreaker.

An honest word on weight: water costs the same on a climb, whether it is on your back or on the frame. Take a 7% gradient, climbed at 10 km/h. The 2 L of water ask for about 4 W more there, wherever they are stowed. What changes is the bike: it stays lively out of the saddle, and the front triangle stays free for a frame bag.

Cyclite cut it to be forgotten, 156 g in S/M and 176 g in M/L, and sells it on its own or with its own hydration bladder. For summer ultra-distance, when water becomes the real limit, this is the vest MAAKE recommends.
