    Key features

Sacoche de selle Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02, Noir, chargement d'un vêtement

A sleeping bag, a sleeping mat or a change of clothes: enough for a night out or an unsupported race, without dragging empty volume around.

Sacoche de selle Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02, Noir, détail du crochet aluminium

The bag locks onto the rails with an aluminium hook, not a soft strap. When you accelerate out of the saddle, it follows the bike instead of flapping.

Sacoche de selle Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02, Noir, roll-top ouvert

The roll-top lets the length vary from 25 to 38 cm. When it is half full, you roll the top further and the bag stays taut.

Sacoche de selle Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02, Noir, montée sous la selle, vue de côté

The recycled ripstop nylon is coated on both sides then welded: no through-stitching for water to get in, and a bag you can hose down.

Sacoche de selle Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02, Blanc, montée sous la selle

A large reflective pattern covers the back, and a mount takes the light. At night, it is the first thing a car coming up behind you sees.

    Description

The Cyclite Saddle Bag Small 02 is the brand's compact saddle bag. Its 6 L are for the spur-of-the-moment night out, the bikepacking weekend or the unsupported multi-day race, when you carry little and plan to ride hard.

It uses the SR system from Cyclite's large bags: an aluminium hook locked onto the rails and a carbon strip that stiffens the base. It doesn't flap from side to side when you accelerate. The roll-top adjusts the length, the elastic straps hold a jacket, and a mount takes the rear light.

To fill it, a bivouac tip: take the sleeping bag out of its stuff sack and push it to the bottom. It takes the tapered shape of the bag and wedges the rest in place. For mounting, allow 21 cm between the rails and the tyre, suspension compressed, and a seatpost no more than 6 cm wide, carbon or aero.

Cyclite cuts it from its LiteGrid fabric, a ripstop nylon coated on both sides and then welded, hence its 244 g. MAAKE recommends it to those who prefer a lively bike to a full one.
