    The Red XPLR carbon cage is too thick and touches the largest cog of the 10-52 cassette. Garbaruk's cage is designed for that 52-tooth.

    It takes the derailleur's SRAM pulleys, or the Garbaruk 14-16 tooth pulleys for XPLR 13-speed, sold separately in the same eight colours.

    Description

    The Garbaruk XPLR cage replaces the cage of a SRAM XPLR 13-speed derailleur, for gravel riders fitting the Garbaruk 10-52T cassette. It keeps the stock pulleys or takes the Garbaruk pulleys.

    On a Red XPLR, it is essential. The stock carbon cage is thicker: when shifting onto the 52-tooth, it hits the largest cog and shifting becomes inconsistent. Garbaruk's cage, designed for that cog, weighs 48 g. On Rival and Force XPLR, it stays an option.

    Once the cage is fitted, set the chain length with the SRAM calculator, then adjust the derailleur. The SRAM guide uses the 21-tooth cog as its reference: on the Garbaruk GEN2.0 XPLR cassette, that is the seventh cog from the smallest, not the sixth as on the stock cassette.

    Garbaruk makes it near Kraków, in Poland. MAAKE offers it to open up the 10-52 range to Red XPLR groupsets.
