    The bleed screw takes its design from the RX2 and accepts the SRAM fitting as well as Hope's own. The caliper's dedicated bleed block is in the box.

    Lever, hose, mounting bolts and rotor not supplied. Never mix DOT and mineral oil: any fluid other than the caliper's own causes brake failure.

    Description

    The Hope RX4+ SL FM+20 is a caliper only: no lever, no hose, no mounting bolts. It connects to the hose of your road or gravel levers with the supplied Hope fittings, and those levers dictate the version: DOT for SRAM, mineral for Shimano and Campagnolo.

    The point is the +20. On a rear flat mount frame designed for 140 and 160 mm, it takes a 160 mm rotor directly, with no adapter, and a 180 mm rotor on a 160/180 frame.

    Those 10 mm of radius act as a lever arm: for the same effort, braking torque rises by more than 14% compared with a 140 mm rotor. Plan on M5 bolts of the right length, since 7 to 8 mm must go into the caliper and the mount varies from one frame to another. For the front, see the RX4+ SL FMF+20.

    For 2026, Hope has refined its bore cap to fit more frames. MAAKE offers it to fit four pistons behind the levers you already have.
