    The whole garment is cut from UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS, a very high-density woven fabric that Q36.5 places in its wind-control category. On the inside, Heat Fiber, made from coffee bean waste, turns ambient far-infrared radiation into body heat.

    The Q LAB Air is sewn in two layers that slide over each other: when you tilt your pelvis forward to reach the drops, the insert follows your position. The ventilated construction reduces the friction caused by seams and overlapping materials.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Dottore Hybrid bib tights are made for hard mid-season and early-winter training, between 5 and 15 °C. They cover what bib shorts leave exposed to the wind: the knees and the lower legs.

    On the bike, it is the wind of your own speed that chills you. So Q36.5 cut the whole garment from UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS, a very high-density woven fabric from its wind-control category. Inside, a fibre made from coffee waste harnesses far-infrared radiation: according to Q36.5's measurements, these bib tights are 1 °C warmer than the previous version.

    A ten-degree spread is an autumn morning: you set off in the cold and come back in milder air. Try them on with your hands in the drops: the leg cuff should stay resting on the ankle when the pedal reaches the top. If it rides up, check your size again against the "Rider height" row of the size guide. Below 5 °C, switch to the Dottore Termico; above 15 °C, to the Dottore Hybrid bib shorts.

    Q36.5 makes these bib tights in Italy and has tested them at over 110 rpm. Our pick: a single pair of bib tights for training hard all autumn.
