    Silver thread is woven into the fabric. It helps the fabric dry quickly and slows bacteria, which matters when the ride gets longer and sweat builds up.

    The straps follow the contours of the torso with a soft stretch. The shorts stay stable on the pelvis without creating pressure points.

    No elastic band or silicone at the bottom of the legs: the hem is raw-cut. The leg stays in place without marking the thigh, however hard the effort.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Dottore Pro is the brand's most accomplished summer bib shorts, for demanding endurance training and long days in the saddle from 18 °C. The idea behind it: hold the muscle, not just cover it.

    The legs are cut from a high-density woven fabric whose compression builds along the thigh. The leg lengthens and contracts with every pedal stroke: according to Q36.5, this support keeps the muscle fibres aligned and reduces fatigue over the distance. At the back, the rear panel is shaped to support the lower back.

    The effect shows through repetition: four hours at 90 rpm is 21,600 strokes per leg. Judge the size sitting on the bike, hands on the hoods: the chamois should sit under your sit bones without creasing. Wash it after every ride, at 30 °C maximum, without fabric softener. Below 18 °C, switch to the Dottore Hybrid.

    Made in Italy, the Dottore Pro joined the professional peloton in 2025 with the Pinarello Q36.5 team. We offer it to riders who put long summer rides back to back.
