    Description

    The Q36.5 Pluie Hiver overshoes are made for wet winters: soaked roads, drizzle, cold, from 2 °C to 18 °C according to Q36.5.

    Their UF Waterproof fabric places a full waterproof membrane between two knits, nylon on the outside, acrylic on the inside. The membrane stops the water, the whole keeps you warm, and Q36.5 gives it its top rating for breathability. Built without seams, the knit hugs the shoe with no wrinkles, at 69 g in size M.

    The large reflective logo sits at the back, facing the headlights of cars coming up behind you, at the time of day when winter rides start or finish in the dark. Take your usual shoe size, as Q36.5 advises. Below 2 °C, switch to the Termico overshoes; in driving rain, the Pluie overshoes are the ones Q36.5 rates highest for waterproofing. Toe covers, for their part, only cover the front of the foot.

    Q36.5 makes them in Italy, with a sole reinforced by a separate yarn. We chose them for the winter mornings when nothing dries.
