    Air enters through the front vents, flows through internal channels and leaves through a rear duct that exhausts it fast. The rounded vents limit turbulence.

    The 2Vi platform combines the Mips Air Node system, which limits the rotation passed on to the head in an angled impact, with Impact Shields reinforcing the front and back of the shell.

    The fit system adjusts for height and width on the move, and leaves room for a ponytail. The comfort pads can be repositioned for long rides.

    Description

    The Tucker III 2Vi Mips is Sweet Protection's aero helmet, for the racer who spends the ride at the front: breakaways, solo efforts, sprints. It was developed with the Uno-X Mobility team and the expertise of a Formula 1 aerodynamicist.

    Sweet Protection optimised it for 45 to 50 km/h in a breakaway position, in the wind tunnel and in computer simulation. Hence its shape: low profile, straight cut-off at the back, a subtle chamfer and rounded vents to limit turbulence. To keep you from overheating, air comes in at the front, follows internal channels and leaves through a rear exhaust duct.

    Why aim so fast? The power lost to the air rises with the cube of speed: going from 35 to 45 km/h multiplies it by 2.1. That is where every detail of the shape counts. For a helmet that switches from aero to maximum ventilation depending on the route, the Falconer Aero and its removable covers are more versatile.

    Sweet Protection, partner of the Uno-X Mobility team, developed it with them. We chose it for those who race, or ride as if they were racing.
