    Description

    The Cybrei GP-3 crank arms are a carbon road base that adapts to the bottom bracket you already have: a 28.99 mm SRAM DUB or 24 mm Shimano spindle, and eleven lengths from 150 to 175 mm. At the front, the Easton Cinch interface takes a spider for a double chainring or a direct mount chainring.

    A carbon crank has to last, first of all. Cybrei put the GP-3 on the test bench: a 130 J impact, then 1,800 N repeated 140,000 times, 40% beyond what the EN 14781 standard requires. Its average stiffness is measured at 101.5 N/mm.

    The 2.5 mm steps are there for fit. Going from 172.5 to 165 mm raises the foot by 7.5 mm at the bottom of the stroke: you raise the saddle by the same amount, and at the top of the stroke the saddle-to-pedal distance grows by 15 mm. The hip opens up. To remove them, you need an ISIS-standard crank puller.

    Cybrei spent three years developing the GP-3, tested by UCI Continental teams. MAAKE picks it because it adapts to the bike. For a carbon spindle, there is the Ultra.
