    Description

    The Cybrei GP-3 Metarbon crankset fits the GP-3 carbon crank arms, the 110×4 aluminium spider and the Metarbon Aero chainrings, in black: a road double chainring in eleven lengths from 150 to 175 mm, with a SRAM DUB or Shimano 24 mm spindle.

    The Metarbon Aero outer chainring is high-modulus carbon, with machined 7075-T6 aluminium teeth: carbon for shape and weight, aluminium to take the chain. Its solid face smooths the air around the crankset. The 50/34T pair weighs 135 g, the crankset 495 g, calculated in DUB and 170 mm.

    Changing chainrings shifts the gear range, not the jump: all three pairings keep a 16-tooth gap, and the front derailleur, set to the height of the outer chainring, handles the same jump. On a 28 mm tyre, the 54-tooth on the 11 cog covers 10.5 m per pedal revolution, close to 57 km/h at 90 rpm, against 52 km/h with the 50.

    Cybrei spent three years developing the GP-3 and had it tested by UCI teams and World Tour riders. MAAKE offers it in Metarbon for the brand's carbon chainring, up to the 54/38T that Cybrei presents as an innovation.
