    Description

    The Cybrei inner chainring is the inner ring of the brand's road double chainrings, Shimano 110×4 standard, 11- or 12-speed. It completes the Metarbon Aero, Evo and Evo Honeycomb outer chainrings, which are sold separately, as are the bolts.

    Selling it on its own lets you change just one chainring, without buying the pair again. Cybrei pairs its chainrings with a 16-tooth gap: 34 with 50, 36 with 52, 38 with 54, 40 with 56. Two engraved marks show the face to turn towards the frame and the point to line up with the crank.

    On climbs, two teeth matter. Going from 36 to 34 shortens every pedal revolution by 6% on every cog. In 34 × 34 on 700 × 28, one revolution covers 2.1 m: at 70 rpm, 9 km/h, or about 210 W on a 10% gradient for 83 kg, bike included. The one limit: Cybrei does not publish its weight.

    Cybrei CNC-machines it from the same 7075-T6 aluminium as its Evo outer chainrings. MAAKE offers it in black or silver to repair or fine-tune a double chainring.
