    Description

    The Cybrei Ultra Metarbon crankset brings together the Ultra crank arms, the 110×4 aluminium spider and the Metarbon Aero chainrings, all in black. It is designed for a climber's road bike, where every part goes on the scales.

    Here Cybrei replaces the aluminium spindle with a 28.99 mm carbon spindle, integrated with the T1000 carbon arms: cranks and spindle weigh about 270 g. The outer chainring follows the same idea, in high-modulus carbon with 7075-T6 aluminium teeth where the chain runs. Total: 445 g, calculated in 50/34T.

    What it changes can be worked out: for a rider and bike at 75 kg, 100 g less saves about 5 seconds over an hour of steep climbing, at the same power. The carbon spindle needs a SRAM DUB bottom bracket, and the Easton Cinch interface accepts a power meter spider.

    The Ultra is Cybrei's lightest crank, about 270 g with its spindle. With the brand's carbon chainrings, it is, for MAAKE, the most accomplished double crankset in the range.
