KS Ether Forged XC and gravel stem

The KS Ether Forged is an aluminium stem for XC and gravel, in 70, 90 or 110 mm. It clamps a 31.8 mm handlebar, like the KS Ether Carbon gravel handlebar, on a 28.6 mm steerer. It does not take a 35 mm handlebar.

The body is forged from an alloy chosen by KS, then CNC-machined and anodised. Forging gives the material, machining the final shape: the shortest weighs 86 g, the longest 100 g.

Length is chosen together with the angle. With a 71° head angle, a 6° stem points about 25° above horizontal. Going from 70 to 110 mm therefore moves the bar forward by about 36 mm and up by about 17 mm. The 70 mm makes the steering quicker, the 110 mm stretches out your torso.

KS offers it for XC and gravel alike, with the same 31.8 mm clamp as its Ether Carbon gravel handlebar. We chose it to set the position of an XC or gravel cockpit in three lengths.
