    The Super Molded chamois is moulded in three dimensions, with foam whose density and thickness change by zone: sit bones, perineum, glutes. Moulding lets the thickness vary smoothly, with no step against the skin, and the outer layer dries quickly to wick moisture away.

    The straps stretch smoothly and follow the contours of your torso, whether you ride sitting upright or stretched out over the bar. They hold the shorts in place without creating pressure points and stay breathable.

    No elastic, no silicone band: the leg cuff is raw-cut and stays on the thigh through the fabric alone. It stays in place whatever the intensity, with no hot spot or pressure point on the thigh.

    The cut is pre-shaped and uses a minimum of seams and panels, so there are fewer friction points as the ride gets longer. At the front, an anti-stress panel follows the shape of the pelvis and leaves you free to move with every pedal stroke.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Gregarius Essential is the brand's training bib short, for the Tuesday interval session as much as the long weekend ride, as soon as the thermometer goes past 18 °C.

    It all comes down to what is underneath you. Q36.5 has done away with the centre seam between the saddle and the chamois, the one that usually creates pressure once you sit down. The pattern follows the saddle's contact area, and underneath, the Super Molded chamois varies foam density and thickness by zone: sit bones, perineum, glutes.

    The cut supports the muscles without compressing them. Below 18 °C, move to the Dottore Hybrid, the thermal version. To check the size, get on the bike with your hands in the drops: the chamois should cover the whole area that rests on the saddle, and neither the straps nor the leg cuffs should pull when you go from standing to your pedalling position.

    It is made in Italy from 100% recycled yarns, elastane included. In our selection of bib shorts, this is the everyday one: a cut that supports without squeezing, and seams kept to a minimum.
