    Description

    The Q36.5 Super Termico overshoes are made for harsh winter rides, when it freezes: the brand rates them from -5 to 6 °C. Hermetic, they pull on over the shoe like a sock.

    They are cut from UF Thermal Shell fabric, and the forefoot, where the air hits head-on, is built from two layers of the brand's warmest fabric.

    At 0 °C and 30 km/h, the wind chill index gives a feel of about -6.5 °C on bare skin: that is the wind a hermetic shell stops before it reaches the shoe's vents. Pull it over your ankle, put your shoe on, then roll it down over the shoe, clearing the cleat. Underneath, a Super Termico sock completes the layering; when the air turns milder, the zipped Termico overshoes take over.

    Q36.5 makes them in Italy and gives them its top rating for insulation and wind protection. We chose them for the mornings when your feet alone decided how long the ride would last.
