    This is Ritchey's first gravel handlebar in Superlogic construction. Before it is approved, it goes through impacts followed by fatigue cycles: the scenario of a bar that has already taken a knock and keeps on riding.

    Brake and derailleur run inside, fully or partly routed, and the bar takes the Shimano EW-RS910 junction box. With housing wider than average, the routing can get stuck.

    The ergonomic bump in the drops has been redesigned, softer, to support the palm without leaving a mark when you stay in the drops for hours. The 24° flare opens the drops for a more natural arm position.

    Description

    The Ritchey Superlogic VentureMax takes the VentureMax shape, short drop and drops flared at 24°, and makes it in carbon. It is built for long-distance gravel, often loaded, with extensions for the straights.

    A gravel handlebar always ends up taking a hit: a stone, a crash, the bike laid down with its bags. What matters is what it is still worth afterwards, when the vibration starts again. Ritchey tests it exactly that way, impacts followed by fatigue cycles, and it weighs only 235 g in 42 cm.

    When fitting it, carbon sets the torques: 5 Nm maximum at the stem clamp and at the extensions, torque wrench in hand. The housing runs inside the bar, fully or partly, all the way to the frame with the WCS Switch stem.

    It is Ritchey's first gravel handlebar in Superlogic construction. MAAKE offers it alongside the aluminium WCS VentureMax: same position, you choose the material.
