    Stone guarantees 0.02 mm interface parallelism, the level of stock SRAM chainrings. The chainring sits flat on all 8 bolts of the crank.

    The narrow-wide teeth are cut for the SRAM AXS Flattop or T-Type chain, and the “FOR AXS 12SP” or “FOR T-TYPE” marking on the chainring says so.

    Stone 8-bolt DUB cranks sold by MAAKE: supplied with the 120 mm spindle, to SRAM Force D1 specifications (standard spindle). The 125 mm spindle, to SRAM Wide specifications according to Stone, must be requested before ordering.

    Description

    The STONEDW Aero DUB WIDE is an 8-bolt 1x chainring made only for SRAM cranks with a DUB WIDE spindle: Rival, Force or RED AXS in the wide version. It is the solid version, for riders who accelerate hard on the road or on gravel.

    With no arms, chain load goes through the whole disc: Stone claims a stiffer chainring that flexes less in a sprint. The material follows, 10 mm of pre-stretched 7075-T651 to limit distortion.

    The 6.5 mm offset gives a 47.3 mm chainline on a wide spindle. On a standard DUB spindle, it drops to 44.8 mm, 2.5 mm too far inboard: Stone does not support that setup. For fast gravel, Stone recommends 44 or 46 teeth: compared with a 40, a 44 adds 10% to every pedal revolution. Flattop or T-Type chain.

    Stone holds interface parallelism to 0.02 mm, the level of stock SRAM chainrings. MAAKE offers it to DUB WIDE riders who want to give nothing away when they accelerate.
