    On the chest and the outside of the arms, the UF Hybrid Shell fabric stops the wind as well as a three-layer fabric, according to Q36.5, but without a membrane. Vapour keeps passing through: you stay dry for longer as the effort builds.

    Each zone gets the fabric suited to its job: UF Hybrid where the wind hits, a softer, insulating fleece on the inside of the arms and on the stomach, a fine pinstripe fabric on the back. This mix widens the jersey's temperature range.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Dottore Hybrid Que is a long-sleeve jersey that does the job of a jacket, from 8 °C to 18 °C: autumn mornings, spring rides where you climb in the warmth and come back down in the cold. It is now in its 3.0 version.

    Its case rests on something it leaves out: there is no membrane. On the chest and the outside of the arms, the UF Hybrid Shell fabric blocks the wind as well as three-layer membrane fabrics, according to Q36.5. Nothing traps the vapour: the sweat from the climb passes through instead of sitting on your skin, and the jersey, still dry, keeps its warmth on the descent. The back, sheltered in the riding position, switches to a striped fabric that ventilates.

    Take it close-fitting: the snug cut is what holds in the heat. Underneath, follow the Q36.5 guide: a short-sleeve base layer from 15 °C, a long-sleeve one from 8 °C. Any colder, switch to a winter jacket. The Dottore Hybrid bib shorts cover the same range.

    Made in Italy, it has been reworked with what Q36.5 has learned from body mapping in the wind tunnel and in racing. We offer it to anyone who wants a single garment for the shoulder seasons, from the climb to the descent.
