In the riding position, the fronts of your thighs and your knees take the air head-on. That is where, and nowhere else, Q36.5 slips a second layer of perforated fleece under the outer fabric: the warmth is kept where the cold hits.

The outer fabric, woven at very high density, acts as a barrier against the elements. Its inner face carries a Heat Fiber, made from the residue of coffee bean processing, which captures far infrared to warm the body: Q36.5 measures 1 °C more than with the previous version.

An anti-stress panel replaces the centre seams at the crotch, and laser-cut finishes do away with others. Fewer seams under your pelvis means less chafing as the winter ride gets longer.

The panels are oriented along the direction of the pedal stroke to make the most of the fabric's stretch. Q36.5 has tested them beyond 110 rpm: your cadence drills stay on the programme, even in the depths of winter.

The chamois combines two layers assembled so that each one moves on its own: it adapts when you go from the hoods to the drops. Its ventilated construction reduces the friction from seams and overlapping materials.
