    A waterproof membrane is sandwiched between two knitted layers. It stops rain, snow and icy wind, and it is supple enough to follow the knit without stiffening it.

    Neoprene stops the rain but does not breathe, and sweat condenses against the skin. A plain knit is warm but lets wind and water through. This glove takes the best of both.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Pluie Hiver gloves are made for wet winters: cold rain and soaked roads, from 0 °C to 18 °C according to Q36.5. Designed for the rain, they have become the brand's favourite winter glove.

    No neoprene here. A waterproof membrane is sandwiched between two knitted layers: the water stays out and the knit breathes, whereas neoprene makes sweat condense against the skin. With no seams, the glove fits your hand like a second skin, at 69 g in size M.

    The knit keeps your dexterity: you can dig through your back pocket without taking the glove off. In a downpour, pull the sleeve of your rain jacket over the cuff of the glove: water running down your arm then drips off outside instead of getting into the glove. Below 0 °C, switch to the Super Termico gloves.

    These gloves are the only Q36.5 product not made in Italy: the brand developed them with a Taiwanese factory that specialises in this membrane knit. We chose them because a single pair covers almost the whole winter.
