    A knit coated with polyurethane inside and out, the same as on the Pluie overshoes. Its textile base resists tearing better than a silicone toe cap and stays stretchy enough to hug the toe of the shoe.

    They cover the toes and the forefoot, the part that takes the water from the road and the headwind. The heel and ankle stay uncovered, without the warmth of a full overshoe.

    Description

    The Q36.5 Pluie toe covers go over the front of the shoe, in any season, as soon as the road is wet. They are designed for riders who get too hot under a full overshoe, or who ride in knitted shoes.

    They protect only the part of the foot that takes the spray from the wheel and the headwind. Their fabric, a knit coated with polyurethane on both sides, tears far less than a silicone toe cap: 30 g a pair in size M.

    On a Dottore Clima with a knitted upper, they close off the front, where the air gets in. A fitter's tip: do not treat cold toes with a thicker sock, which takes up the room your foot needs in a snug road shoe. Keep your usual sock and cover the front. When the rain sets in, move to the Pluie overshoes; when the cold joins it, to the Pluie Hiver.

    Q36.5 cuts them from the fabric of its rain overshoes and makes them in Italy. We chose them for wet roads without real rain.
